Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to set up my venue?

Under 10 minutes for the basics (details, menu, QR codes). Linking your Telegram channels takes another 2 minutes — you add @KefiQRBot to your channels and type one command per channel.

Do I need a tablet or a new POS?

No. Customers order from their own phones by scanning the QR on their table. Your staff get the order pings in Telegram on the phones they already carry.

What if I've never used Telegram before?

It's a free phone app (like WhatsApp). In ~5 minutes you'll download it, create channels for kitchen/bar/waiters, and invite your staff. We walk you through it during onboarding.

How do customers pay?

In the MVP, customers pay at the counter as usual — the order comes through the QR, but payment happens in-venue. Online payment is on the roadmap.

Can I change my menu later?

Yes — edit items, prices, and availability from /admin/menu at any time. Changes go live for customers immediately.

How do I cancel my subscription?

From /admin/billing → "Manage subscription". This opens the Stripe Customer Portal and you can cancel with one click. You won't be charged again after cancelling.
